Fun-A-Day!

Fun-A-Day : from January 15th, 2025 - February 28th, 2025

The idea is simple: make something every day for thirty days and share your project in an all-ages group art show in early March at the Franklin Free Library (date TBD).

For example: I’m going to sketch my cat on an index card every day* for a month.

What kind of projects? Write a poem each day, build a snowman each day, make a small diorama out of trash each day, crochet a granny square each day, draw a self portrait each day… the possibilities are endless. If your daily project is ephemeral, take a photo/make a recording.

No need to sign up, just get started on your project on January 15th and look out for updates from the Franklin Free Library about the group art show.

Fun-A-Day was started by a group of friends in Philadelphia in 2004 & has since spread to other places around the world. It is a great way to bring creativity into the dark and cold days of winter. 

There is no wrong way to do Fun-A-Day, the goal is to be creative and HAVE FUN! *Missed days are to be expected.
